Enjoy a Vacation on the Farm

The quiet charm of Rising Meadow Farm offers you a place to get away from it all while you experience a different way of life.  Sitting quietly, taking long walks, or joining in the farm activities are all possibilities.  Spend some time fishing in the pond (or just toss some feed in), catch lightning bugs-get to know the sheep, cows, goats, horses and donkey that live here.  Throughout the year there are always things going on-lambs, calves and kids born, shearing sheep, feeding and taking care of the animals,-all interesting to watch or maybe to lend a hand.  In addition there may be eggs to gather, kittens to hold or a neighboring dairy farm to visit.

Enjoy three home-cooked meals each day with visits to the fruit bowl or cookie jar in between.
